For Rod Smith, growing up in the projects in Texarkana, Arkansas was a struggle. “There were six of us, and we lived on $6,000 a year,” explained Mr Smith. It is this deep rooted understanding of the underdog that enables Rod Smith International to give back to the community and help others rise up past their own situations.
